Clamp Meters: AC, AC/DC and True RMS Models

A clamp meter measures current by closing its jaw around a single conductor, so the circuit does not need to be opened. AC clamp meters read alternating current only, while AC/DC models also measure direct current for solar, battery and vehicle systems. Most models include multimeter functions for voltage, resistance and continuity.
