VC834 True RMS Manual Range Multimeter, NCV, Temperature

The VC834 is a compact 2000-count manual-range multimeter in the VC800 series. It covers DC voltage to 600V at ±(0.5%+4), DC current from a 20μA range to 10A and resistance to 200MΩ, and adds temperature measurement and Max/Min data hold to the True RMS and NCV functions shared across the series. It runs on two AAA cells.

Choosing within the series

The VC834 and VC833A share the same 2000-count manual-range layout and the same DCV, ACV, DCA and resistance ranges. The VC834 adds temperature and Max/Min data hold; the VC833A has a torch and the hFE test instead, and its AC frequency response is 40Hz~400Hz against 40Hz~2kHz on the VC834. For auto ranging with capacitance and frequency, look at the VC835B, VC836 or VC837.
